Moscato of Scanzo

The Production

The Moscato of Scanzo
This wine, which has extraordinary characteristics and personality, can claim a documented history that goes back as far as 1372 and comes from an autochthonous vine which in 1993 was awarded the DOC label. A typical dessert wine or to accompany cheese, it is ruby red in colour. The analysis of its extremely fragrance bouquet shows a predominance of wild berries and sour marasca cherries which becomes accentuated with ageing. It is complex and fascinating to the palate, where the composition of fruit is alternated with an after-taste of incense and flint.
